Our instructional team held parent training sessions to to provide guidance, tutorials, and tips about using our online learning platforms, monitoring student progress, navigating dashboards, and more. Edgenuity Parent Portal Informationgraphic


Thank you for your patience as we’ve worked through some technical difficulties related to Edgenuity’s parent portal. If you have not received an email with a link to Edgenuity’s parent portal, you  can access it here.

Please contact your child’s 4th period teacher for your child’s activation code to sign up for portal access. Once you’ve entered the activation code, you will be prompted to set up a password.  Click here for step by step instructions with screenshots on how to set up access to the Parent Porta.

If you are not receiving weekly progress reports from Edgenuity and would like to, please email Alicia Melton at amelton@pelhamcityschools.  

Grading for the Semester

Students will not receive a 9 weeks report card. Report cards will be sent home at the end of the first semester. Google classroom courses will have grades entered into INOW throughout the semester. Courses with Edgenuity will not have grades entered in INOW until the end of the semester. Please see Edgenuity’s weekly progress reports for more information about your child’s progress in these courses.

Edgenuity Courses and Retakes

All courses in Edgenuity have been set up with the following settings:

  • 2 attempts on quizzes 
    • Teachers may grant additional retakes to students who are not successful on the first two attempts
  • Teachers will bypass students with a minimum score of 50 on quizzes not passed where a reasonable attempt was made by the student
  • 2 attempts on tests
    • Teachers will unlock the automatic retake for students who failed the first attempt.
    • The highest score of the two test attempts will be recorded. 
    • If both scores are below 50 and a reasonable attempt was made, the test will be scored as a 50.

      

  • 3 or more attempts on quizzes or tests
    • Are allowed at the teacher’s discretion
    • Ex. Students with Individual Learning Plans, Student errors in test/quiz submission, Edgenuity test/quiz interruptions (not the fault of student)
