Mr. Finch is the Assistant Principal at Pelham Park. He is in his 23rd year in education. Prior to becoming an administrator, he spent 16 years teaching Physical Education and coaching football, basketball, track, and even a little volleyball. He received both his bachelors and masters degrees from UAB. In his spare time he enjoys hanging out with family and friends, traveling to new places (no flying), and watching all Auburn athletics.

Alicia Melton is the Assistant Principal of Instruction at Pelham Park Middle School. She is originally from Mississippi where she graduated from the University of Mississippi. She began her teaching career in Charlotte, NC as a middle school science teacher and came to Pelham in 2014. She serves as Academic Specialist and Instructional Coach at PPMS prior to taking her current position. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and cheering on her 2 kids at the soccer field and horseback riding arena.

Kristi Cocke

Cocke’s career spans 19 years in education in the roles of aide, teacher, instructional coach, reading specialist, and most recently assistant principal and preschool director. Cocke started her career at Valley Elementary School in Pelham and also worked at Valley Intermediate, Pelham Ridge, and Pelham Oaks before working in Tarrant City Schools over the past four years.

Mrs. Cocke received a Collaborative Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. She has also earned a Masters level degrees in Curriculum & Instruction and Instructional Leadership from the University of North Alabama. In her free time, Mrs. Cocke enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
